2012 United Way Fund Distributions

Marshfield Area United Way no longer simply raises and distributes money to non-profits. Instead we focus on the underlying causes to our community’s most pressing problems. Our ongoing work focuses on programs in three areas to build a stronger community: Community & Basic Needs, Families & Seniors and Youth Initiatives.

Human service programs serving these areas apply for funding in the spring. Professionals from all walks of life volunteer for the Community Impact Committee (CIC) to assess program applications, financials and results to make funding recommendations. The United Way Board reviews the CIC recommendations and approves the final funding levels.

If you are interested about learning about your community and getting involved with any step of the Impact Process, call 384-9992 or click here to e-mail Paula Jero, Executive Director.
