Advocate for 2-1-1
Contact your representative and ask them to support the Call for 2-1-1 Act today.

As a result of the hard work of 2-1-1 advocates like yourself, congressional support for 2-1-1 is at an all-time high with 197 Representatives and 55 Senators currently cosponsoring the bill.

The Calling for 2-1-1 Act would provide funding necessary to meet needs across the country--and in the Marshfield area.  Needs include
improving infrastructure, increasing staff levels and training and reaching more rural populations.

With your help, the 2-1-1 movement will reach critical mass.  Take action now.

Real Stories. Real People. Right Here in the Marshfield area.Restaurant

My name is Jen and three months ago my world was in a tailspin.

Newly diagnosed with diabetes, I didn't take my prescribed medication because it cost too much.

Feeling sick all the time effected work and family life.  But I finally realized I needed help when I got the late rent notice.

So I called 2-1-1 and received information to help pay part of the costs so I could start taking the medicine--as well programs to as off set other expenses so I could pay my over-due rent.

I also connected with a diabetes support group to help learn more and manage my health.  The friendships I found help me keep a positive outlook.

This help was possible because of your contributions to United Way.

If you need information about community programs, or if you have a problem and don't know where to turn, dial 2-1-1.

United Way's 2-1-1 is free and confidential--and available every day, 24 hours a day.
