Lifelong Learning Opportunities

Mission Statement: Providing opportunities for people ages 16 and older with disabilities to increase self-sufficiency, improve life skills, enhance communication and provide for safe activities.

Brief Agency Overview: UW Continuing Education's "Lifelong Learning Opportunities" program offers educational learning opportunities for special needs (at-risk) populations, including the economically disadvantaged.

The program is designed to provide opportunities for adults with disabilities to increase self-sufficiency, improve life skills, enhance social and communication skills/literacy, provide safe activities, develop employable skills and for some participants, help strengthen their family unit.
