Families and Schools Together (F.A.S.T.)

Mission Statement: To provide the environment which cultivates maximum student potential.

Brief Agency Overview: Families and Schools Together (F.A.S.T.)is a family-building program. FAST staff meet with families in their own homes, and groups of families meet together at school. Families often come back as program participants or as leaders.

Project FAST helps families like yours:

• Communicate.
• Be strong.
• Have fun.


• Learn more and get more out of the community.

FAST groups meet once a week for eight weeks, weekday evenings from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M. During these meetings the program provides:

• FREE evening meals.
• FREE transportation to and from the meetings.
• FREE child care for children.
• Adult supervised fun games and activities for your children.
• A quiet time for parents to talk with one another--about parenting, the school, the community, and life in general.
• One-to-one "quality time" between parents and their 5 to 9 year-old child.
• Information about community resources and school.
• Fun activities for the entire family.
• FREE prizes for all families.
