Free Tax Assistance

Presented by City of Marshfield Parks & Recreation, AARP and United Way.  Trained volunteers prepare taxes for individuals earning less than $56,000 as a free service.

Homestead Credit and State & Federal Appointments available until April 12, 2010

• Available to anyone 18-years-old and older with incomes less than $56,000
• Taxes will be filed electronically
• Individual Filings Only -- No Business Income (Farm, Rental, Health Savings deductions, etc)
• Individuals with earnings exceeding $56,000 will be placed on a wait-list
• Other Itemizations that do not qualify

Please bring the following to your appointment:

• 2009 Medical Insurance Premiums
• 2009 W-2's related to employment
• 2009 1099's for interest and/or dividends
• 2009 SSA-1099 statement for Social Security Benefits
• 2009 Rent Certificate  OR
• 2009 Real Estate Bill (Property taxes)
• Copy of 2008 Homestead Credit (If applicable)
