Scouts of Woodland Council
Girl
Scouts of Woodland Council is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors
and meets quarterly. Incorporated in 1963, the board's annual budget is
$500,000 - $999,999. The current board houses 11 members and there are 13
paid staff members. A total of 611 are listed on the volunteer staff. Primary
groups served are Children (5-12), adolescents (13/17), Women, Families/Parents,

Prospective Board of Director members are being considered. Duties include:
reviewing feedback from association meetings, finalizing and voting on policy-related
proposals and/or: continually reviewing all Council policies and bylaws,
drafting proposals for presentation to delegates, obtaining feedback and
voting on final drafted proposals, (when necessary) bring policy-related
issues before delegates for a full vote via the Council's annual meeting,
and notifying delegates of proposals in writing 30 days in advance of meetings.
