2019 Distributions to Funded Programs

Marshfield Area United Way no longer simply raises and distributes money to non-profits. Instead we focus on the underlying causes to our community’s most pressing problems. Our ongoing work focuses on programs in three areas to build a stronger community: Education, Financial Stability and Health.

Human service programs serving these areas apply for funding in the fall. Professionals from all walks of life volunteer for the Community Impact Committee (CIC) to assess program applications, financials and results to make funding recommendations. The United Way Board reviews the CIC recommendations and approves the final funding levels.
