Volunteer Opportunities by Agency

The Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield serves elementary-aged youth in a safe, supportive out-of-school time environment, offering both after-school and full-day summer programming designed to help kids reach their full potential.

Our programs are intentionally designed to support the whole child and include a wide range of high-impact focus areas such as academic enrichment, STEAM activities, workforce readiness, and sports and recreation.

To ensure that cost is never a barrier to participation, the Club offers membership at a highly subsidized rate. For children who qualify for the Free or Reduced-Price Lunch Program, the fee is just $10 per child for the school year or summer. For children not enrolled in the lunch program, the summer membership fee is $100 per child.

The Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield is committed to providing accessible, inclusive, and enriching opportunities for all youth—because every child deserves a great future.

Because we all want our children to thrive, Children's Wisconsin offers a variety of programs to help support parents and caregivers. Many of these programs are offered in partnership with local agencies and organizations.

Parents can find resources and programs and enjoy activities with their children. We offer parenting classes, parent information meetings and parent-child activities. We also offer screening for children ages 4 months to 5 years to see if they may need extra help in some areas. There is no cost to you.

Pathway Partners is a United Way Partner Program established at Marshfield High School in 1999. Its mission is:

"To expose high school students to nurturing relationships with caring adults and to the diversity of opportunities and experiences in our community. These experiences, having guided academic and personal development, will enhance students' life skills and enable them to make successful transitions to post-high school education and employment."

This voluntary program is open to all students who are welcome to participate—and it’s completely free of charge.

Pathway Partners offers both short- and long-term mentoring opportunities for Marshfield High School students to connect with supportive adults in the community. These experiences include:

One-on-one mentoring

Job shadowing

Informational interviews

Guest speakers

Mentoring can take various forms. Some students benefit from long-term relationships with mentors that span their entire high school journey. Others may engage in short-term mentoring, focused on a specific career exploration goal—ranging from a single meeting to several sessions within the school year.

We welcome adult volunteers to participate in the way that best fits their interests, whether through ongoing mentoring or short-term career exploration support.
