When young people get the support they need, there’s no limit to what they can achieve. Every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential. Marshfield Area United Way clears the path to success, from early childhood through college and career. United Way supports childcare, early learning, education, enrichment, and family engagement to give every young person more opportunities to thrive. United is the Way we can equip children, teens, and young adults with the tools to succeed.

Anna started therapy when she was in middle school. She had a history of complex trauma and struggled with anxiety, panic, and chronic headaches due to extensive stress. Despite multiple barriers and significant symptoms, Anna succeeded in school and stayed actively engaged in therapy even while temporarily homeless. She worked two jobs to pay for her basic needs, graduated with honors this spring, and earned a six-figure scholarship to attend a private university in the fall.

Anna is resilient, kind, hardworking, and intelligent, with a bright future ahead of her. She received the support she needed when she needed it most and now serves as a role model for others and plans to help others in her future career.
