The story of Marshfield Area United Way has never been about our organization. It is the story of a community that comes together when challenges arise, a community that always steps up to help their neighbors. It is the story of lives changed through the kindness of others.
In 1946, 45 Marshfield citizens came together with a shared purpose: to identify community needs and support local health and human service programs that improve lives. Eighty years later our organization and generations of friends and neighbors are still committed to this legacy, strengthening United Way’s role as the central, trusted nonprofit organization serving Marshfield and the surrounding communities.
We invite you to celebrate 80 years of impact in one or more of the following ways!

Nelson Jameson, end product of them raking leaves for Make Difference Day 2025
October 2023, Board members (Left) Andy Wilkens and (Right) Jeff Kolstad emptied the trailer of bagged leaves after helping to clean up yards for elderly and disabled members in our community.
On June 24, 2026, the Marshfield area United Way hosted a record-breaking Golf scramble, hosting 42 teams and raising $40,000 for the community.
